I'm Kristi Jacobsen, founder of Kristi Jacobsen Operations. My background is business operations: building the systems, SOPs, and knowledge bases that let a team stop tripping over the same problems.
Today I bring that same thinking to AI integration, built the way I'd build any system that has to actually work on a Tuesday afternoon.
I wanted freedom first. The business came second.
I didn't set out to be an AI person. I wanted time and location freedom. Corporate life was stressful, and somewhere along the way it stopped feeling like the right fit for the life I actually wanted to live.
I'd enjoyed part-time virtual assistant work, and I knew I wanted to go further. Location freedom pulled harder than corporate policy ever did.
That's the whole reason this business exists. I'm a part-time digital nomad myself, based out of the Carefree and Phoenix, Arizona area, and I built this practice to help other business owners get the same freedom I was chasing.
I didn't trust AI at first.
I worried it would replace people, and I assumed it was more noise than help. What changed my mind was using it hands-on. Drafting customer emails at my day job. Flagging the important messages in my own inbox. Building a small app for fun, just to see what was possible.
Every time, I saw the same thing. AI makes repetitive work faster and more accurate, but a human still has to review it and make the real call.

That's where my positioning line comes from. The time this work frees up is time to actually live your life. We're only here for a short time, so why not let AI help us make the most of it?

A lot of this market undercuts on price by hiring for pure task execution. Someone follows your checklist, bills the hours, and stops there.
I bring a master's degree and real operational strategy to this work. My master's is in music business administration. I help clients think through their operations, not just execute what they're told. When something in your business looks broken, I'll say so, and we'll fix the actual cause instead of the symptom.
